Covington Business Council luncheon program Thursday on top ten issues affecting real estate


Jeanne Schroer, CRE, President/CEO of the Catalytic Development Funding Corp. of Northern Kentucky, will discuss real estate trends and impacts for Covington and the region at the Covington Business Council’s luncheon Thursday from 11:30-1 p.m. at the Madison Event Center.

Each year, the Counselors of Real Estate provide a white paper based on their national members’ research and hands on experience, listing the top global and national trends impacting supply, demand, and development of real estate in the United States.

Schroer will share CRE and other research she’s compiled and discuss how our region and particularly our River Cities are positioned with respect to these trends.  Can recent momentum continue given impending changes in real estate capital markets, the political environment, and demographic shifts?  What local development initiatives and opportunities have the best chance of success considering these trends and issues?  

Schroer is a member of the Counselors of Real Estate which is a professional designation awarded to individuals upon invitation by their peers who demonstrate Ethics, Experience, Expertise, Influence and Eminence in real estate and real estate-related counseling and advisory services.  Counselors work on the most complex and important projects, effectively run real estate businesses, and are known for innovation and creative problem solving. 

She is President/CEO of the Catalytic Fund which funds, executes, and structures complex urban revitalization projects in Northern Kentucky’s River Cities.  She has 35 years of experience as a real estate professional working for commercial real estate development firms and held a faculty position in the University of Cincinnati’s Real Estate Center, part of UC’s College of Business.
