Madison Avenue Christian Church invites the community to an event celebrating music and mission to be held in the church sanctuary on November 12 at 7 p.m.
The church is located at 1530 Madison Avenue in Covington.
Madison Avenue Christian Church is sponsoring the event as a gift to the Northern Kentucky community.
“We are pleased to welcome the community to enjoy the musical gifts of our guest performers and to learn about our outreach ministries.” said event organizer Janet Chapman.
“Madison Avenue Christian has a 100-year history of commitment to Covington, and we have embraced our mission to serve those in need in our community. Music has always been an integral part of worship here at MACC and we look forward to sharing a wonderful evening with our congregation, friends and community. We hope you will join us.”
There is no admission charge and a reception will follow the event.
Disciples of Christ affiliated church, Madison Avenue Christian Church has a robust meal program as well as providing many services to the working poor in Covington. Dedicated church members and hundreds of community volunteers serve on average, 28,000 hot meals a year, and over 200,000 meals have been served since the beginning of the program in 2004.
