Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles welcomed legislators to the annual Kentucky Proud Breakfast for state legislators recently in the Capitol Annex Cafeteria in Frankfort. The breakfast consisted entirely of Kentucky Proud food grown, raised, made, or processed in Kentucky, such as eggs, bacon, country ham, sausage, biscuits topped with sausage gravy, hash browns, grits, doughnuts, milk and chocolate milk, apple cider, local honey, and various jams and jellies.
