Dayton celebrates new Body of Art Tattoo shop in Main Street District with open house, ribbon-cutting


The Body of Art Tattoo celebrated its grand opening this week in Dayton with an open house ribbon-cutting ceremony officiated by Mayor Virgil Boruske.

The new Tattoo Shop is located at 618 Sixth Avenue in the Dayton Main Street District.

Body of Art Tattoo is owned by Amber Hoeffer and Aryn Fox. They have built a strong following as an tattoo artists in the region, and Aryn was a finalist on the Game Show Network’s program Skin Wars.

The ribbon-cutting

Aryn Fox described Body of Art Tattoos: “We are an artisan tattoo shop that works with our clients to create permanent artistic masterpieces.”

“Working with Aryn and Amber has been great, and we look forward to having them as part of our business community,” said Robert Yoder, Dayton Main Street Manager.

Body of Art Tattoo will be receiving rental abatement and a uniform signage grant from the City of Dayton’s Commercial Community Advantage Program.
