Corporex names sr. vice president, Karen McShea, for Corporex Colorado; to grow Denver market


Karen McShea, one of the top real estate development talents on the east coast, has been hired as Senior Vice President by Corporex Colorado.

With over 25 years’ experience, McShea is globally recognized for her industry expertise and has advised clients on issues pertaining to the implementation of complex real estate projects; asset positioning and marketing strategies; market analysis; maximizing economic value for corporate and investor clients; public/private partnerships; development implementation strategies; RFP and developer selection processes.

McShea comes to Corporex from Lupoli Companies located in Boston, MA. She most recently served as vice president, director of real estate development for the company where she managed Thorndike Exchange; a two-phased mixed-use, transit-oriented development with 35,000 square-feet of commercial space, 190 residential units and four restaurants. McShea was responsible for development from concept to completion including management of design team, financial modeling, tax incentive structures, marketing and leasing, and the construction bid and execution process.

In her new role, McShea will be responsible for growing the Corporex office in the Denver market, securing new business opportunities, joint venture developments, and build-to-suit opportunities.
