BLINK, BLINK, BLINK, BLINK again — core river region bathed in light, one more night to go

BLINK has bathed the region in light — a feast for the eyes and for the senses. It is the nation’s largest and most spectacular public light and art event.

From its first event in 2017, BLINK has bought a sense of community to the region — and a passel of tourists (and tourist spending) as well.

Now in its fourth iteration it has grown too — this year to new sites in Covington and for the first time to new sites in Newport.

It attracts over 2 million people who walk the city’s blocks in wonder and amazement (along with the natives), crosses a river and connects a region. It will provide an estimated $126 million economic impact to the region.

Still time to take it in . . .It ends at 11 p.m. tonight.
