Easter is coming — and along with it, egg hunts, games and more — here a list, for your planning

Traditionally, the date of Easter is set as the first Sunday after the first Paschal full moon. The Paschal full moon is simply the first full moon on or after the Spring Equinox or March 21. This year Easter is celebrated on April 5. Most northern Kentucky cities are gathering their communities early this year with Easter egg hunts planned this month

Covington

March 28, 11 a.m. at Devou Park – Families are invited to Covington to celebrate spring with egg hunts, games, a petting zoo, and pictures with the Easter Bunny.

Erlanger

April 5, noon at Receptions Erlanger – Make memories with your family at Erlanger’s Easter brunch while decorating cookies and pictures with the Easter Bunny.

Florence

March 28, 10 a.m. at Thomas More Stadium – The City of Florence will have egg hunts, games, and photos with the Easter Bunny.

Fort Mitchell

March 21, 10 a.m. at General Ormsby Mitchel ParkGeneral Ormsby Mitchel Park – Look for cookie decorating, egg hunts, face painting, food trucks, and egg hunts in Fort Mitchell.

Independence

March 28, 11:30 a.m. at Memorial Park – The festivities in Independence include a circus, food trucks, games, an egg hunt, and a prize raffle. Also scheduled is a sensory-friendly/special needs hunt at 11 a.m.. Registration is required for the egg hunt.

March 29, 2 p.m.at Kenton County Library Independence Branch – Take pictures with Bunny Rex, our larger-than-life T.Rex, Pickles, all dressed up and ready for Easter.

Newport

April 5, 1 p.m.at BB Riverboats – Celebrate Easter on the Ohio River with a cruise on a riverboat and a fabulous brunch. There is also an Easter dinner cruise on the same date at 4:30 PM. Registration is required.

Taylor Mill

March 28, noon at Pride Park – Taylor Mill is hosting the Easter Bunny, activities, and egg hunt for ages 1-11.
 
Union

March 28, 8:30 a.m. at Union Presbyterian Church – In Union you and your family can enjoy special breakfast items, face painting, balloon artists, and of course the Easter Bunny!
