Kentucky Farm Bureau (KFB) is inviting members, supporters and the public to help choose the official 2026 Freddy Farm Bureau T-shirt through an online voting contest tied to the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary celebration.
This year’s theme, “America250,” honors the spirit of the United States’ 250th anniversary. The winning design will become the official Freddy Farm Bureau America250 T-shirt and will be used in KFB promotions and outreach throughout the year.
Six original T-shirt designs have been created for the contest. Supporters across the commonwealth can view the designs and vote at kyfb.com/Freddy250. The winner will be announced on March 31.
Freddy Farm Bureau has long been one of KFB’s most recognizable ambassadors. He first debuted at the Kentucky State Fair in 1958 and has greeted fairgoers for more than 65 years, never missing a day. Freddy is a beloved tradition for generations of Kentucky families.
He is widely recognized as the unofficial meeting spot of the Kentucky Exposition Center. For decades, fairgoers have said, “Meet me at Freddy,” referring to his location on the front porch of Freedom Hall.
More than just a landmark, Freddy serves as an agricultural ambassador for KFB’s 475,000-plus member families. He shares the story of Kentucky agriculture, educating the public about farming and food production.
