Barrels go public Thursday at Truist Arena
Northern Kentucky fans can get their first look at the Kentucky Barrels Thursday in an open public practice at 5.30 p.m. at their Truist Arena home.
“We’re throwing the doors open,” the Barrels say, promising “a high energy practice” open to fans followed by a session where fans can meet the players, get their autographs and snap photos with them until 7:30 p.m.
“Feel the intensity” up close and personal is the theme here for Northern Kentucky’s first-year sports franchise. “And it’s free,” the Barrels add, signing off their invitation with “Let’s Barrel down.”
Opening home game for the Barrels’ Arena Football One schedule is April 12 against the Michigan Arsenal.
The rest of the home schedule:
• April 19 – Oceanside (Ca.) Bombers
• May 3 – Nashville Kats
• May 17 – Beaumont (Tex.) Renegades
• June 13 – Oregon Lightning
• June 27 – Albany Firebirds
Season ticket signups will be available Thursday.
