The Kenton County Property Valuation Administrator’s (PVA) office has announced its PVA C.A.R.E.S. initiative, which includes a series of community information sessions at libraries across the county.
The Kenton County PVA office recognizes the financial burden increased property assessments can have on property owners. The mission is to provide fair and equitable assessments, educate homeowners, ensure transparency and support property owners throughout the appeal process.
“At the PVA Office, we believe in something simple – PVA C.A.R.E.S.,” said Plummer. “C.A.R.E.S. stands for Committed, Accessible, Responsive Educators (proudly) Serving Kenton County and is aimed at helping our valued property owners be successful in the upcoming appeal period.”
The first information session was held in Erlanger on March 24.
Kenton County residents are invited to join PVA Darlene Plummer for an upcoming presentation at the Kenton County Library in Independence on April 9.
The following session will be at the Kenton County Library in Covington on April 14.
Each session runs 6–7:30 p.m. All property owners are encouraged to attend to learn how the PVA office works and how to better understand the assessment and appeal process.
The PVA information sessions are not Kenton County Library sponsored events.
