Village Players of Fort Thomas to present Over the River and Through the Woods April 24-May 2

The Village Players of Fort Thomas is inviting audiences to laugh, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most in Over the River and Through the Woods, a warmly funny and deeply touching comedy by acclaimed playwright Joe DiPietro. The production runs April 24 through May 2 and is presented by arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc.

Directed by Jerry Wiesenhahn, Over the River and Through the Woods tells the story of Nick Cristano, a young man whose loving but overbearing Italian-American grandparents refuse to let him move away without a fight. What follows is a charming and relatable exploration of family bonds, tradition, and the bittersweet push and pull between staying close and moving forward.
