This free, family friendly event provides the community with an opportunity to engage with the Florence Public Services Department and gain a behind the scenes look at the essential services that keep the city running smoothly.

Attendees will be able to explore a variety of city vehicles and equipment, including snowplows, loaders, and utility trucks. Children will have the opportunity to climb aboard the equipment, participate in hands on activities, and even help name the city’s newest public works vehicle, it’s mini excavator.

In addition to interactive exhibits, guests can enjoy complimentary food provided by local Florence businesses.

Public Services staff will also be available to answer questions and discuss their work, including road maintenance, park upkeep, stormwater management, and facility operations.
