It’s the 55th annual Duveneck Art WALK this year, partnering with Baker Hunt, Purple Paisley and local businesses

For 54 years the Duveneck Art Show has been hosted by the Baker Hunt Art and Cultural Center, and held at the George Rogers Clark Park. The 55th year will see a few changes, including a new location.

This year, on May 16, the 55th Duveneck Art Show will be held on the 2-acre campus of Baker Hunt, located at 620 Greenup Street in Covington. One benefit of the move is the private parking lot on the Baker Hunt Campus.

Another change to the show will affect local businesses.

This year, because another art organization, Purple Paisley, was hosting their art show on the same day, Baker Hunt reached out to them, as well as other local businesses, to present the idea of a community art WALK; showcasing the two art events, while also supporting the businesses in-between both locations.

Guests to both the Duveneck Art Show (Baker Hunt) and the Local Artisan Show (Purple Paisley) can walk between both organizations while enjoying other festivities and supporting local businesses. Walk between each show and enjoy coffee from Left Bank Coffee, shopping from Maison Boutique, fibers from the Stitch Yarn Studio, and more.

Baker Hunt has now released the map of the walk, and will soon share information about a fun scavenger hunt, and special promotions from each business. Each business will be offering incentives, and/or raffles.

The Duveneck Show on the Baker Hunt campus will also have live music and food trucks. Both art shows will have art demos, a scavenger hunt, and showcase dozens of talented artists from the region; including paintings, stained glass, ceramics, wood working, and more!

Shop. Stroll. Support local arts.
