Family Nurturing Center is celebrating a major milestone in the construction of its new facility and is inviting donors, volunteers, community partners, advocates, elected officials, and supporters to participate in a special Beam Signing Celebration.
Attendees will have an opportunity to sign a structural beam that will become a permanent part of the organization’s new home. Participants will be invited to add their names and messages of hope, inspiration, and encouragement as the building takes shape. The event will be Friday, June 26 at 9 a.m. at the future Family Nurturing Center site, located at 380 Centre View Blvd. in Crestview Hills.

The new facility represents a transformative investment in the future of Family Nurturing Center and the children and families it serves. Designed to support the organization’s continued growth, the expanded space will allow Family Nurturing Center to increase access to trauma-informed services, reduce waitlists, and reach more children and families in need throughout the region.
The Beam Signing Celebration marks a significant milestone in Family Nurturing Center’s $12 million Nurturing Hope Campaign, which has raised more than $9 million to date, including a $2.5 million investment from the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
“This building is much more than a construction project,” said Jane Herms, President and CEO of Family Nurturing Center. “It represents hope, healing, and opportunity for thousands of children and families. Every donor, volunteer, advocate, and community partner has helped make this vision possible, and we are excited to invite them to leave a lasting mark on a facility that will serve our community for generations to come.”
The celebration will also include a special presentation by Representative Stephanie Dietz recognizing the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s $2.5 million investment in Family Nurturing Center’s expansion project. The state appropriation represents a significant milestone in the campaign and reflects a shared commitment to strengthening services for children and families across the region.
The beam signing serves as both a celebration of the organization’s progress and a recognition of the many individuals, businesses, foundations, community leaders, and public partners whose support has helped bring the project to life.
Family Nurturing Center’s new facility will provide additional capacity for prevention, education, parenting, and treatment programs aimed at ending the cycle of child abuse and strengthening families. By expanding its physical footprint, the organization will be better positioned to meet growing community needs and ensure that more children and families can access critical services without delay.
Supporters and community members are encouraged to attend and take part in this historic moment as Family Nurturing Center writes the next chapter of its story — one signature at a time.
