On the Bluegrass State’s 234th birthday, the Kentucky State Fair unveiled its 2026 official poster, featuring nods to America250, the World’s Championship Horse Show, and iconic Freedom Hall.
The poster’s theme, County Traditions, Country Celebration, reflects the fair’s alignment with the year-long commemoration of America’s semiquincentennial. Fairgoers at the August 20–30 event will have the opportunity to enjoy specially curated programming, including the United We Stand at 250 exhibit, themed photo opportunities, America250KY live mural paintings, patriotic entry competitions, and more.
At the center of the illustration, an American Saddlebred and rider take a victory lap in front of Freedom Hall, representing the 123rd World’s Championship Horse Show, the world’s most prestigious Saddlebred competition. Held in conjunction with the Kentucky State Fair, the event will feature thousands of Saddlebreds, riders, and trainers from across the globe in Freedom Hall August 22-29.
“America’s 250th birthday is a moment to recognize what connects our Commonwealth to the nation. Spotlighting our only native horse breed and Freedom Hall, an arena honoring the service members of World War II and the Korean War, brings our agricultural roots and commitment to others together under one roof,” said David S. Beck, president and CEO of Kentucky Venues.
The 2026 Kentucky State Fair poster will be available for purchase through the Kentucky State Fair’s merchandise store during the event.
