Art After Hours returns to Campbell County Public Library’s Fort Thomas Branch Friday, July 24 from 7-9 p.m., where patrons can again stop into the branch and visit with local artists.
“Every year, people from all across Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati come to celebrate the end of Summer Reading at Art After Hours,” said Amy Carroll, branch services program manager. “Artists and patrons alike recognize it as the welcoming place it is, one that is filled with laughter and beautiful mixed media art.”

With new and returning artists selling their art, there will be everything from painting to woodwork to pottery and more. This is the perfect time to catch up with friends and fellow community members and enjoy the final days of Summer Reading.
“We wish for everyone who steps through the door to find something that interests them, which is why we try to get as many different types of local artistry as we can,” Carroll said.
Attendees can also enjoy live music by the Cincinnati Contemporary Jazz Orchestra, refreshments and hors d’oeuvres from Kate’s Catering and floral scenery from Fort Thomas Florist and Greenhouses.
Art After Hours attendees will also be able to vote for their favorite creation in each age category from the Tiny Art Show — young ones, children, teens and adults. Community members can enter the Tiny Art Show by creating a 3″ x 3″ canvas at home and submit it by Thursday, July 23, or attend one of the following Tiny Art programs: Tuesday, July 14, from 6-8 p.m., or on Thursday, July 16, from 2-4 p.m.
