Breeze Airways has started new, seasonal nonstop routes from CVG Airport to Portland, ME, and Greenville-Spartanburg, SC.
The routes, offered on Mondays and Fridays, bring CVG’s total number of nonstop flights to 61 including seasonal flights.

Ralph Burnham of Newport, was among the passengers flying to Portland on the inaugural flight Friday.
“My family and I have been vacationing in southern Maine for years, and we were thrilled to learn that Breeze has a direct flight to Portland,” Burnham said. “It’s so convenient for a week or a weekend trip.”
CVG placed balloons at the Breeze gate, B12, to celebrate the new routes.
“As Breeze grows, we continue to connect the dots between our existing cities, and this new service from Cincinnati is a great example,” said David Neeleman, founder and CEO of Breeze Airways. “Both Portland and Greenville-Spartanburg are great destinations for travelers, with no existing nonstop service from Cincinnati. We know the community will enjoy this new, affordable, and convenient service and look forward to welcoming them onboard.”
“We are very grateful to Breeze Airways for its partnership and continued growth in our market since beginning service at CVG in 2023,” said Chad Summe, chair of the Kenton County Airport Board.
“With the new nonstop service to Greenville/Spartanburg and Portland, Breeze Airways will serve seven markets from CVG, bringing CVG’s total nonstop destinations to 60 over the summer months,” said Larry Krauter, CVG CEO.
