C&B Marine, a maritime logistics and construction services provider specializing in river-based transportation, celebrated a major relocation and expansion to Ovation in Newport at a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday.

Relocating from Covington, the company has moved into a custom, 12,443-square-foot space on the third floor of Ovation Office 1. This move represents a nearly 50% increase in physical footprint to accommodate C&B Marine’s continued growth, expanded operations, and long-term investment in the region.
“Our move to Ovation is all about the future of C&B Marine,” said Bryan Carlisle, partner at C&B Marine. “This custom-designed, centrally located headquarters gives our team the perfect launch pad for expansion. We’ve built our legacy working along the Ohio River, and remaining right here on the riverfront in a space optimized for growth will ensure we can continue delivering top-tier maritime logistics for years to come.”
The custom-designed headquarters balances a sleek, modern, and highly functional aesthetic with a distinct maritime and river theme. The design incorporates warm wood undertones and curved furniture that mimics river waves, celebrating the company’s deep maritime roots. A key highlight of the new space is a striking, custom stainless-steel feature wall complete with the C&B Marine logo – a unique piece sourced from a local metal fabricator and designed and installed by area craftsmen.
C&B Marine is in Ovation Office 1, along with St. Elizabeth Physicians Primary Care Office and MegaCorp Logistics. It sits atop a 550-car parking garage for the mix of office, entertainment, and retail-use spaces.
“C&B Marine chose Ovation for its modern workplace environment, river access, and customized, scalable space,” said Bert Hehman, Director of Sales & Leasing at Corporex. “Thanks to our extensive portfolio, we seamlessly transitioned them from RiverCenter into a dynamic new home built for their long-term vision.”
