NKy Chamber of Commerce

It is with profound sadness that I share the news of the passing of Beth Farrer over the weekend.

Beth was not just our former Director of Member Relations; she was one of the finest individuals I have ever had the privilege of working with. Thoughtful, compassionate, and remarkably dedicated, she played an instrumental role in the growth and success of the NKY Chamber of Commerce and our business councils. Her leadership, unwavering commitment to others, and genuine kindness left a lasting impact on our organization and on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

This message was shared on Facebook from her family …

IN LOVING MEMORY of Beth Farrer

With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and bonus mom. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, faith, compassion, and selfless love that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew her.

For the past seven years, she courageously battled cancer. During the last year of her life, her health declined significantly, yet she rarely spoke about her pain. She never wanted to inconvenience anyone or become a burden. Instead, she continued doing what she had always done—caring for others before herself. Even in her most difficult moments, her concern remained focused on the people she loved.

Her faith was the foundation of her life. She found strength in God and lived each day with grace, humility, and a servant’s heart. She believed in helping those in need and devoted countless hours to giving back to her community through charitable work and acts of kindness. She never sought recognition; simply knowing she had made someone’s day a little brighter was enough.

Nothing brought her greater joy than her family. She shared a beautiful life with her devoted husband, Matt, and was a loving bonus mom to Tyler and Shane. She warmly welcomed her daughters-in-law, Kayla and Shelley, and grandkids Daisy and Dominic, as part of her family and loved them dearly. Beth was the beloved daughter of Virginia Jones and the late Leonard Jones, and a caring sister to David Jones and his partner, Garth. She was also blessed with bonus parents, Peg and Dick Farrer, whose love and support meant so much throughout her life.

Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that she is now free from pain and resting peacefully in the presence of the Lord she faithfully served. Her legacy of love, generosity, faith, and selflessness will continue through the countless lives she touched.

Services will be held for Beth at Crossroads Church, 828 Heights Blvd, Florence, on Wednesday July 8th with visitation from 5-6:30 p.m. with a prayer service starting at 6:30 p.m..

NO FLOWERS PLEASE! In lieu of flowers a donation to American Cancer Society in Beth’s name would be greatly appreciated as Beth was always about others that this would be the greatest gift you could give to honor her life.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten! Until we meet again, your kindness, your faith, and your love will continue to guide us every day.
