City of Florence invites community to the Crafts & Classics Festival on August 1


The City of Florence invites the community to attend the Crafts & Classics Festival on Saturday, August 1 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Bell Park and the Historic Main Street Fire Station.

Admission is free and all are welcome to enjoy a morning celebrating local artisans, classic vehicles, food, music, and community. Event parking will be available at Florence Christian Church.

The festival will feature over 60 unique craft and vendor booths, offering a wide array of handmade goods, artisan products, and local specialties. Attendees can explore a variety of creative works and support local artists and entrepreneurs. Food enthusiasts will be delighted by the selection of food trucks including Taqueria Nicos, HUDIE Hut-N-Stuff, Dreamys Ice Cream, Steak ‘N Shake off Houston Road and Papa Pats Hotdogs. A highlight of the festival will be the display of winners from the Community Photo Contest, showcased in the Historic Main Street Fire Station.

Start your day with the excitement of our family friendly Car Show, running from 9 a.m.-noon This showcase features an impressive lineup of both classic and modern vehicles for all to enjoy. Whether you are a car enthusiast or just love a great community event, there is something for everyone.

Participants will compete for a variety of awards, including Mayor’s Choice, Chief of Fire Choice, Best Classic, Best Modern, Best Truck/Jeep, Best Motorcycle, and Top 10 Overall. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. with a $20 entry fee. All proceeds will benefit Boone County High School, so you can enjoy the show while supporting a great cause.
