The City of Covington has named Clint McIntosh as the city’s new revitalization manager.
In his new role within the Economic Development Department, McIntosh will lead projects and strategic initiatives that strengthen the vitality, economic competitiveness, and physical environment of Covington’s downtown and neighborhood business districts. His work will focus on activating underutilized properties and facilitating redevelopment projects that advance the City’s long-term vision.
A major priority for McIntosh will be supporting the continued development and activation of the City’s transformative 23-acre Covington Central Riverfront redevelopment project, while also helping advance revitalization efforts along commercial corridors throughout Covington, with a particular emphasis on the Latonia neighborhood. He will work closely with developers, property owners, businesses, and community stakeholders to help create vibrant destinations that residents and visitors can enjoy for generations to come.
“Clint’s passion for community development and collaborative approach make him an outstanding addition to our Economic Development team,” said John Sadosky, the City’s acting Economic Development Director. “The work happening at the Covington Central Riverfront and in Latonia represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity, and we’re excited to have Clint helping lead those efforts.”
McIntosh spent the past several years working across the river. Before joining the City of Covington, he spent nearly five years in economic development roles with the City of Cincinnati. Prior to that, he worked for Alloy Development Co., a commercial lender, startup incubator operator, and economic development partner based in Cincinnati.
McIntosh earned a Master of Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Louisville, and has an Economic Development Finance Certificate from Grow America.

I’m also looking forward to enhancing the character and quality of life in each of Covington’s neighborhoods, and I definitely can’t wait for the opening of the new City Hall!”
Outside of work, McIntosh is looking forward to exploring Covington’s award-winning culinary scene and enjoys traveling, hiking, and cheering on the Reds and Bengals.
