bhm cpa group, a certified public accounting firm with offices across the Midwest, has announced the acquisition of Chamberlin Owen CPAs, an Erlanger-based accounting firm with more than 20 years of service to individuals, small businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and governmental entities throughout Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati.
Chamberlin Owen founding partners John R. Chamberlin and Lori Owen will continue to lead the Erlanger office and remain the primary points of contact for their clients. The full Chamberlin Owen team will join bhm, preserving the continuity of service that the firm’s clients have relied on for more than two decades.

The acquisition extends bhm’s footprint into the Kentucky market and adds several experienced team members to the firm, and reflects bhm’s continued strategy of growing through partnership with established, respected practices.
“One of our goals at bhm cpa group is to expand our reach inside the Commonwealth of Kentucky,” said Doug Mayr, bhm CEO. “Once we spent time with John and Lori, it was obvious that combining Chamberlin Owen with bhm would provide a platform to achieve our goals.”
Chamberlin Owen’s Erlanger office, located at 3216 Dixie Highway, will continue to operate as bhm’s Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati location. Clients of both firms will see no interruption in service, and Chamberlin Owen clients will gain access to bhm’s full range of services.
