Urban Community Developers, Inc. (UCDI) is introducing Ann Street Limited, a new infill housing development bringing 11 single-family upscale homes to Ann Street between 10th and 11th Streets in Newport’s Westside neighborhood.
The event will take place on Thursday with a program from 10-10:30 a.m. and site visits and tours to follow of the Ann Street Hub and sites currently under construction.
The Ann Street Hub, 134 10th Street, is a community center serving as a dedicated on-site resource throughout the sales process for current residents and prospective buyers. The Hub will offer access to city and neighborhood improvement programs along with grant opportunities and will also create a direct point of connection for residents, neighborhood groups, community partners, and interested homebuyers.
Ann Street Limited supports more sustainable growth by bringing new homes to existing city lots and making thoughtful use of Newport’s established streets, utilities, and neighborhood infrastructure. The location itself supports a more active, walkable lifestyle, with everyday destinations, dining options, and the riverfront just steps away.
Each residence offers the potential for up to 2,200 square feet of livable space, plus a 300-square-foot rooftop deck.
Homes are scaled to fit the character of Newport’s Westside, with at least two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a rooftop deck, off-street parking, and a lower level with windows, offering natural light and flexibility for future expansion as a home gym, office, or in some cases, an additional bedroom.
Most of the homes’ lower levels will include a rough-in for a full bathroom, and every home comes standard with an electric vehicle charger.
Representatives from UCDI, the City of Newport, the Catalytic Fund, and Mansion Hill Fine Properties will be on hand for the dedication.
