Gov. Andy Beshear has made appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions that includes two new board members at NKU and two NKyians to the Kentucky Board of Eduction.
Beshear has appointed Michelle Snodgrass-Deimling as a member of the Northern Kentucky University Board of Regents and has reappointed Victoria Grooms.
Michelle Snodgrass-Deimling of Cold Spring is a private practice attorney and former commonwealth’s attorney for the 17th Judicial Circuit. She replaces Gregory Mecher, who was not confirmed by the Senate, and will serve for the remainder of the unexpired term, which expires Sept. 10, 2031.
Victoria Grooms of Newport is the director of admissions at Per Scholas. She will serve for a term expiring June 30, 2032.
The Governor has reappointed Randolph Poe of Union and Julia Pile. of Florence to the Kentucky Board of education.
Poe is executive director of the Northern Kentucky Education Council and will serve for a term expiring April 14, 2030. Pyle is president of Parent Camp Inc. and will serve for a term also expiring April 14, 2030.
Greg May of Pikeville was named to the Kentucky Community and Technical College System Board of Regents to serve for a term expiring July 29, 2030. He is CEO of Utility Management Group
