Covington City Manager Sharmili Reddy will speak at the Covington Business Council’s monthly luncheon on August 20. She will speak on “Covington’s Resilience — Partnerships Powering Progress.”
The event will be held 11:30 a.m.- 1 p.m. at Embassy Suites RiverCenter.
Reddy will share how partnerships and strategic investments are driving the city’s continued growth and resilience, providing updates on key infrastructure projects, including the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor Project and 4th Street improvements, along with Covington’s economic momentum, public safety initiatives, community engagement efforts, services for those in need, and expansion in the city’s southern neighborhoods.

Reddy has served as City Manager for Covington since August 2025, overseeing an $80+ million budget, 400+ employees, and guiding strategic initiatives and development efforts.
Previously she was Executive Director of Planning and Development Services of Kenton County and City Administrator for Fort Mitchell.
With a strong background in community planning, she has led regional economic and civic initiatives and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Horizon Community Foundation of Northern Kentucky. She is a Leadership Cincinnati graduate and recipient of honors including ASPA Career Achievement Award, Cincinnati Business Courier’s 40 Under 40, and YWCA Rising Star Award.
