The inspection will take place Monday, Aug. 24 through Friday, Aug. 28.

The following lane closures will be in place on I-471:

• Monday, Aug. 24: Northbound left lane closure from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Tuesday, Aug. 25: Northbound right lane closure from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Wednesday, Aug. 26: Southbound right lane closure from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Thursday, Aug. 27: Southbound left lane closure from 6 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• Friday, Aug. 28: No lane closures are currently scheduled. This date is reserved as a make-up day if weather or other unforeseen circumstances delay inspection activities earlier in the week. KYTC will advise motorists if traffic impacts are scheduled for Friday.

Crews will complete the inspection using a snooper truck and specialized rope access techniques. Motorists should use caution when traveling across the bridge during inspection hours and be aware of personnel and equipment within the work zone.

This work is being performed during non-peak travel times to mitigate travel delays. Motorists are still encouraged to leave early, plan ahead and drive safely.

Weather permitting, the overall inspection is expected to be completed by Friday, Aug. 28. KYTC will advise if the project schedule is adjusted due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Project schedules are subject to change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
