Kenton County Public Works is partnering with the Kentucky Division of Waste Management to host a free three-day Waste Tire Collection Event for all Kentucky residents.
Residents can bring old tire to the KYTC facitily lot, locatd at 3923 Madison Pike in Covington Aug. 13 and 14 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Aug. 15, from 8 a.m.-noon.
Accepted items:
• Tires on or off the rim
• Car, truck, implement, tractor, and bicycle tires
• Call the number below if you have more than 100 tires to dispose of.
Items not accepted:
• Foam-filled or calcium-filled tires
• Off-the-road construction tires
• Rubber tracks
• Tires with a bead greater than 1¾ inches
• Tires from retailers, scrap/salvage yards, or recycling businesses
