BE NKY Growth Partnership named Anthony Cadle as Vice President of Strategy, adding regional economic development experience and Northern Kentucky roots to the organization’s leadership team.
In this role, Cadle will lead critical community strategic initiatives and strengthen cross-community and cross-company collaboration to support regional economic development, competitiveness and sustainable growth.
“Anthony brings the strategic discipline, regional perspective and collaborative mindset Northern Kentucky needs as we advance the next phase of economic growth,” said Lee Crume, president and CEO of BE NKY Growth Partnership. “His experience working with key economic development partners in business attraction and retention, his knowledge of this region and his ability to bring public- and private-sector partners together will strengthen BE NKY’s work to build opportunity for residents of Boone, Kenton and Campbell counties.”
Cadle will develop BE NKY’s nextNKY Economic Plan, setting strategic goals and benchmarking metrics to guide the region’s economic growth over the next five to 10 years. He will also oversee BE NKY’s Economy in Review, an annual report that evaluates the region’s economy, identifies strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, and provides actionable outcomes.
Cadle most recently served as Division Manager, Economic Development for the City of Cincinnati Department of Community & Economic Development. During his tenure with the city, he worked to attract and facilitate the creation of more than 3,700 jobs through business retention and expansion strategies and direct engagement with major Cincinnati employers. He also worked with REDI Cincinnati and Hamilton County to bring new companies to the city.
In previous roles with the city, Cadle focused on affordable housing development in addition to strengthening partnerships with developers and community organizations to drive investment and expand housing options.
Cadle is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and a Dayton, Kentucky, native. His first job after graduation was working in his hometown as Main Street Manager, where he facilitated economic development and the renaissance of the city’s Main Street district, and he is excited to start working professionally in Northern Kentucky again.
“Boone, Kenton, and, certainly, Campbell County raised me,” said Cadle. “They shaped how I see community, possibility, and the work that matters. I’m ready to help Northern Kentucky move forward with clarity, collaboration and a shared vision for the region’s future.”
Cadle is excited to bring people together from different counties, industries, and political affiliations to collaborate and work together to make Northern Kentucky the best place in the country to live, work, play, grow and learn.
“Northern Kentucky is unique,” said Cadle. “Most people in Kentucky identify by county, but people from Northern Kentucky identify themselves by the region and that is a testament to the collaborative dynamic that exists between the three counties.”
Cadle replaces Christine Russell, who serves full time as the executive director of the Northern Kentucky Port Authority.
