The Catalytic Fund, along with A.M. Titan Group and the City of Covington, recently celebrated a ribbon-cutting at Mainstrasse Flats in Covington.

A lot that sat vacant for roughly 25 years in Mainstrasse is now home to 12 new apartments.

The Catalytic Fund closed primary construction financing on the project in early 2025 with Covington developer Anthony Bradford, Principal of A.M. Titan Group.

Bradford, Covington Mayor Ron Washington, community members, and Catalytic Fund staff cut the ribbon on August 18. The property is fully leased.

The units feature 10-foot ceilings, balconies, quartz countertops, private entrances, and in-unit laundry, creating quality infill on three longtime vacant parcels.

Bradford and Mayor Washington noted at the ribbon-cutting that it is believed to be the first small multifamily infill project in Mainstrasse in over 100 years.

Mainstrasse Flats is Bradford’s fourth project with the Catalytic Fund, and a model example of how partnership with a community development lender builds developer capacity while improving the community and adding critically needed housing.
