Greater Cincinnati Foundation has awarded $816,120 to 28 nonprofit organizations through its Healthy People: Community and Cultural Vibrancy grant cycle, investing in programs that strengthen physical and mental well-being, expand access to essential services, and help residents build healthier, more stable futures.
This work is part of a larger strategic plan to unlock the potential of Greater Cincinnati by investing $1 billion into the region over the next decade, including a historic $150 million in three key areas: housing, education, and community and cultural vibrancy.
The Healthy People: Community and Cultural Vibrancy grant cycle is grounded in GCF’s belief that strong communities start with strong people. The funding supports organizations working across three critical areas:
• Lifelong Healthy Well-being: supporting healthy lives across generations through prevention, early support, research, and coordinated care for children, families, and older adults.
• Accessible Health, Wellness and Disability Supports: expanding therapeutic and mobility-enabling services for individuals living with disabilities or chronic conditions.
• Stability, Housing and Integrated Behavioral Health: helping individuals and families facing poverty, food insecurity, or housing instability access behavioral health services and basic needs supports that strengthen long-term well-being.
