It’s a mystery: A Halloween-inspired High Tea with a literary is about to unfold

This October, Mrs. Teapots Tearoom and Eatery invites guests to step into a world of intrigue, indulgence and a touch of Halloween-inspired mystery.

On Friday, October 16, the beloved Bellevue tearoom will host “A Book You’ll Take to the Grave,” a oneafternoononly High Tea experience blending seasonal flavors with a mysterious literary surprise.

Guests will enjoy Mrs. Teapots’ full fourcourse High Tea, specially crafted for the Halloween season and served with bottomless tea. But the centerpiece of the experience is a twist worthy of any whodunit: each attendee will receive a newly released wrapped and signed book from a local bestselling author—whose identity will remain secret until the event itself.

“We wanted to create something playful, elegant and a little bit mysterious,” said Ricky Meirovici, who owns Mrs. Teapots with Chef Jacob Perry. “It’s the perfect way to celebrate the season—delicious food, great company and a literary reveal that keeps everyone guessing.”

The event is $80 per person, inclusive of all taxes. The price covers the complete High Tea, bottomless tea service, the signed book, the author reveal and the full themed experience. Gratuity is not included.

Seating is limited, and reservations are required. Reservations may be made by calling 8594912731 during regular business hours: 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Tuesday–Friday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday.
