Horizon Community Foundation of Northern Kentucky has named Katie Enzweiler its director of marketing and Engagement.
With more than 16 years of experience in marketing, event planning, communications, and community engagement, Enzweiler brings a deep understanding of Northern Kentucky and a passion for bringing people together around the causes and communities they care about.
Enzweiler will lead Horizon’s marketing and engagement efforts, helping share the stories of generosity and impact happening across Northern Kentucky while strengthening connections with donors, nonprofits, community partners, and the broader region.
Enzweiler said joining Horizon is also a meaningful return to a community she knows well. She previously worked alongside Horizon and its team for nearly a decade through community events, nonprofit programs, and partnerships, building relationships and gaining a firsthand understanding of the Foundation’s work and the people behind it.
“I feel incredibly fortunate that my career has brought me to this moment,” said Enzweiler. “I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside Horizon for many years, and I’ve always admired the organization’s commitment to Northern Kentucky and the people who call this region home. To now join the team and help tell the story of the incredible work happening here feels very full circle.”
Throughout her career, Enzweiler has built relationships across the business, nonprofit, and community sectors, bringing a passion for creating experiences that connect people, sharing stories that inspire action, and helping organizations build stronger relationships with the communities they serve, said Nancy Grayson, president and CEO of Horizon Community Foundation.
“Katie already understands what makes Northern Kentucky special — the people, the relationships, and the generosity that exists throughout our region,” Grayson said. “We’re excited to welcome her to the Horizon team and look forward to the energy, experience, and perspective she will bring to our work.”
