National League of Cities President Kevin Kramer will address Kentucky League of Cities Annual Conference, discussing federal advocacy, local authority and NLC’s work to support cities, towns and villages.
The conference will be held at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center on Wednesday. Kramer’s remarks will be at 8 a.m., kicking off the event.
National League of Cities (NLC) President and Louisville Councilmember Kevin Kramer will address local leaders from across his home Commonwealth during the state organization’s Annual Conference.
Local leaders are navigating growing fiscal uncertainty, increasing political tension and evolving state and federal policy while delivering essential services for their residents.
Kramer will discuss how NLC is working alongside the Kentucky League of Cities to advocate for communities in Washington, protect local decision-making and connect municipal leaders with resources and peers across the country.
Kramer will also highlight We the Cities, his presidential initiative focused on strengthening civility and respectful dialogue in local government and encourage Kentucky local leaders to take steps toward fostering more civil and productive conversations in their communities.
