The General Election will be held on November 3. The deadline to register to vote is past, but those who are registered should check the ballots in their voting district on the Secretary of State’s website here
Also review what forms of identification are accepted at the polls on voting day. Free photo identifications are provided at every state Department of Transportation licensing site for those who don’t have a photo i.d.

Please check your ballots — the ballot is especially long this year, given the number of state and local offices on the ballot.
There are contested races for U.S. Senate (to replace retiring Sen. Mitch McConnell), for all U.S. House six districts, and for local races — from Judge/Executive to fiscal court to local mayors and councils to school boards and more. Familiarize yourself with your own ballot before you go to the polls.
There is also a Constitutional Amendment on the ballot having to do with the timing of gubernatorial pardons.
To find out where your specific voting location is, click here. That is also the official site of the Kentucky State Board of Elections. It will give you the details on each voting place. Do check because some voting places have changed this this.
Tomorrow, October 20, is the last day to request a mail-in absentee ballot online.
Excused in-person absentee voting begives on October 21 and ends October 28.
On October 29, in person, no-excused voting begins and lasts through October 31.
Polls are open from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Election Day, November 3.
If you have questions about voting, please contact your county clerk’s office.
