Kenton County Public Library has announced Amanda Meeker as the library’s new career and job services manager.
With more than 20 years of experience in career development and higher education, Meeker brings extensive knowledge of helping individuals explore career opportunities, develop professional skills and navigate an evolving job market.

Prior to joining KCPL, Meeker served as director of the Career and Experiential Education Center at Mount St. Joseph University. Her professional background also includes more than 15 years at Northern Kentucky University in career services, including serving as associate director.
“Whether someone is looking for their first job, advancing their career, considering a career change or returning to the workforce, having the right support can make all the difference,” said Meeker. “I’m excited to help people discover new possibilities and take meaningful steps toward their goals.”
A graduate of Truman State University, Meeker earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and holds a Master of Public Administration from Northern Kentucky University.
In her new role, she will oversee the library’s nationally recognized Career and Job Services division, which offers career coaching, résumé assistance, interview preparation, professional development programs and networking opportunities.
“Amanda understands that career services are about more than helping people find jobs. They’re about building confidence, opening doors and strengthening our community,” said KCPL Executive Director Dr. Denise Fritsch. “Her experience and relationships throughout the region will be tremendous assets as we continue to fine-tune our services and contribute to workforce initiatives.”
The appointment follows Fritsch’s transition from leading Career and Job Services to becoming the library’s executive director.
