John Schickel puts “Service Above Self”.
John has dedicated 45 years to public service. He has made Boone County his home and serving this community has been the honor of his life.
I have personally worked with John on many projects including The Schickel Pickle and Wiener Fest that provides more than 50% of the funding needed annually to run the Special Olympics of Northern Kentucky.
John is a member of The Rotary Club of Florence, Serving All of Boone County where we work together to better our community and beyond. Some of these projects include, The Sunrise of Hope, Project Heart ReStart, The Steinford Toy Drive, Go Pantry, One on One Reading and many others.
John would bring years of experience and dedication to the role of Boone County Commissioner. Our County deserves experienced leadership and someone who understands public safety, infrastructure and fiscal responsibility.
I will cast my vote for John Schickel for Boone County Commissioner so he can continue to serve the citizens of Boone County.
