I am pleased to endorse Chris Courtney for mayor of Union, Kentucky.
I had the privilege of working with Chris through the Northern Kentucky Area Development District. When I first became mayor of Williamstown, Chris helped guide me through the workings of the ADD and its role in supporting our communities. His patience, knowledge, and willingness to help provided valuable guidance as I stepped into my new responsibilities.
Through that experience, I came to know Chris as a man of character, strong ethics, and an exceptional work ethic. He consistently led his team from the front, setting an example through his own dedication and commitment to serving others.
Chris’s experience with the ADD has given him a strong understanding of local government, regional cooperation, and the challenges facing our cities. Combined with his service as a U.S. Navy veteran, that background will serve him well in leading the City of Union.
I believe Chris has the integrity, experience, and commitment necessary to be an effective mayor. I am proud to offer him my support and encourage Union residents to consider him as they cast their votes.
