CVG’s Larry Krauter to update Florence Rotary on how airport is shaping NKY’s economic future

What does the future of Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) mean for Northern Kentucky’s businesses, workforce, and economic development?

From connecting travelers to destinations around the world to moving millions of packages through global supply chains, CVG is much more than an airport. It is one of our region’s most important economic engines, supporting jobs, attracting investment, and connecting Northern Kentucky to opportunities across the globe.

The Rotary Club of Florence, serving all of Boone County, invites community members, business leaders, and guests to join us on Monday, November 9, 2026, as we welcome Larry Krauter, chief executive officer of CVG, for an engaging presentation:

With an estimated $12.2 billion in annual regional economic impact, CVG plays a critical role in shaping the future of Northern Kentucky and the Greater Cincinnati region.

Krauter will share insights into the airport’s continued evolution and the opportunities ahead, including:

• Air Service Expansion: How CVG is strengthening passenger connections and supporting travel opportunities for businesses and residents.

• Cargo & Global Logistics: The airport’s role as a major logistics hub and its importance to regional and international commerce.

• Infrastructure & Investment: Improvements and long-term investments designed to support growth, efficiency, and the passenger experience.

• Business & Economic Development: How airport operations and partnerships help attract businesses, create jobs, and strengthen the regional economy.

• Workforce Development: Efforts to recruit, develop, and retain the talent needed to support a growing aviation industry.

Whether you’re a business owner, community leader, frequent traveler, or simply interested in Northern Kentucky’s future, the presentation will offer an opportunity to better understand how CVG’s continued success impacts the communities where we live and work.
