The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport celebrated the opening of Jimmy John’s as a new addition to the Concourse B Food Court. The sandwich chain celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting, as travelers passing through stopped to enjoy complimentary samples of the brand’s signature sandwiches.
Jimmy John’s is one of the most recognized sandwich chains in the country, built on a straightforward promise of fresh ingredients, fast delivery, and bread baked in-house every day. The brand is best known for its Freaky Fast service, simple but well-crafted menu of slims, clubs, and original sandwiches on freshly baked French bread, and a devoted following that has made it a go-to for meals across the country.
The new location occupies the space in the Concourse B Food Court previously home to Chick-fil-A, following Chick-fil-A’s relocation to a larger space in the Food Court. Jimmy John’s joins a growing lineup of dining and concessions options reinforcing CVG’s ongoing efforts to expand and elevate the passenger experience.
“Giving travelers a variety of options throughout the airport is a priority for CVG, and every addition we make to our concessions lineup is part of that commitment,” said Chad Summe, Chair of the Kenton County Airport Board. “We want passengers to feel well-served at every turn, and Jimmy John’s is a welcome fit for the Concourse B Food Court.”

Jimmy John’s is located in the Concourse B Food Court and is open daily. It will be operated by Tailwind Hospitality Inc., one of the airport’s premier food and beverage operators, which also operates SAMBAZON® Açaí Bowls near Gate B19.
