Public meeting set for June 11 in Edgewood to gain public input on Kenton County Transportation Plan

Kenton County has announced the Kenton County Transportation Plan, a long-range planning effort designed to identify major transportation needs and solutions throughout the county for years to come.

The KCTP will serve as a wide-ranging review of Kenton County’s existing transportation network while also analyzing future needs to improve safety and mobility opportunities across the region.

Public input will play a critical role throughout the planning process. Residents, businesses and community stakeholders are encouraged to participate and help shape transportation priorities for the future.

“Traffic and transportation are top-of-mind issues for residents across every community, and this plan will help ensure we have a clear, community-driven roadmap to improve how people move safely and efficiently throughout Kenton County,” said Judge-Executive Kris Knochelmann.

A public meeting will be held on Thursday, June 11 at the Liberty Hall Event Center, located at 550 Freedom Park Drive in Edgewood.

The meeting will be conducted in an open-house format, allowing attendees to stop by anytime between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. There will be no formal presentation. Instead, attendees will have the opportunity to review detailed displays about the planning process, share input and speak directly with members of the project team.
