LifeSciKY Innovation Showcase August 7 aims to create partnerships, networking opportunities

Northern Kentucky nonprofit lab incubator LifeSciKY will host a new event this summer aimed at creating collaborative partnerships and networking opportunities for its biotech tenants, life sciences companies, educators and students.

The LifeSciKY Innovation Showcase will take place from 10 a.m.=3 p.m. on Aug. 7, at the OneNKY Center, located at 209 Greenup St. in Covington. The showcase will bring together more than 25 innovative vendors, LifeSciKY’s onsite tenants, and academic and industry partners from across Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky for networking, collaboration, and discovery.

“This is a great event for students, educators and anyone interested in making connections in the life sciences community, exploring new partnerships or looking to discover innovative products and services,” said Wendy Lemen, lab services manager of LifeSciKY. “LifeSciKY provides critical resources to early-stage life sciences startups. Beyond physical equipment and lab space, we know that making connections is essential to bringing research out of the lab and into the world, so we’re excited to host the Innovation Showcase as a chance for the community to connect, collaborate, and help move Kentucky innovation forward.”

Attendees will enjoy complimentary food and beverages, a lunch and learn presented by Eliquent Life Sciences, and an exclusive opportunity to tour the state-of-the-art LifeSciKY incubator space, which opened in December 2025. There are also opportunities to engage with LifeSciKY’s onsite tenants and vendors including ThermoFisher Scientific, Mitsui Chemicals, Corning, Miltenyi Biotec, Alkali Scientific, and Agilent.

The perks don’t stop there; attendees will also be entered to win an incredible lineup of giveaways including a $500 cash prize, $100 Starbucks gift card, $50 Amazon gift cards, a limited edition New Riff x LifeSciKY bottle of bourbon, a weekend stay at the Marriott Rivercenter, and more.

Registration is free and open to the public. Visit the LifeSciKY Innovation Showcase event page for more information and to register.
