Rudler PSC continued a Northern Kentucky tradition of supporting the community with the Rudler PSC Charity Golf Outing.

The event, held at the Twin Oaks Golf and Plantation Club in Covington, helped to raise funds to support the Northern Kentucky Education Council, this year’s designated charity.

In prior years, the Bank of Kentucky held a Community Outreach Golf Outing to support local organizations, which was a highly respected and successful event. After a year hiatus, Rudler PSC decided to step up as event host to ensure that the tradition continued.

Rudler presented a check for over $26,700 to the Council as a result of the event.

“Our purpose in holding this event is to give back to our community,” said Skip Looney, Principal at Rudler PSC. “Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati have been good to us, and we feel it is important to support our community in return. The Northern Kentucky Education Council is most worthy to be the first recipient of our golf outing, as we are dedicated to supporting education in our region.”

The Northern Kentucky Education Council was selected from a group of local organizations to receive the proceeds from the charity golf outing. The Northern Kentucky Education Council is the backbone organization for alignment of education initiatives in Northern Kentucky. The Council serves as a catalyst for collaboration, change and progress to attain regional education goals in Boone, Campbell, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton and Pendleton Counties.

“We were honored to be chosen by Rudler to be the beneficiary of their golf outing,” said NKYEC Executive Director Polly Lusk Page. “Their commitment to strengthening the community through their support of the Council, and education, is truly a win for all of the children, youth and young adults we serve in Northern Kentucky.”
