Students who missed the first fall enrollment or would like to complete course work in a shorter time may now enroll in the 8 or 12-week sessions at Gateway Community and Technical College. The 12-week session begins Sept. 14 and the 8-week session begins Oct. 12.

Gateway offers a wide variety of majors that prepare students for high-wage, high-demand jobs in currently hiring industries, such as manufacturing, information technology, business and emerging new fields in health care.

“We encourage anyone who wants to make 2015 a year to get a fresh start on the future to enroll in the 8- or 12-week sessions,” said Andre Washington, Gateway dean of enrollment services. “Classes are offered at Gateway campuses in Edgewood, Florence, the Urban Metro Center, downtown Covington, and automotive courses are offered at the Covington campus on Amsterdam Road.”

Gateway is among the very few higher education institutions that did NOT raise tuition this year. And, financial aid is available to eligible students.

“Gateway is an affordable and quality pathway to high paying careers or completing the first two years of a four-year degree,” Washington added. “Our credits transfer, enabling students to save 50 percent of the cost of a four-year degree at any public university in Kentucky. Plus, we offer free parking and free bus transportation to all of our campuses, via a partnership with the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky. Those benefits further reduce a student’s college expenses.”

Gateway was named one of the Top 25 Online Colleges in the nation, and their online classes enable students to attend college anytime, anywhere. A complete list of these classes can be downloaded at www.gateway.kctcs.edu/Academics under the Class Schedules menu.

To talk to a counselor, find a list of classes or to start the application process, visit the admissions office at any of their campuses, call (859) 441-4500, click here or go to http://gateway.kctcs.edu/apply.
