The Campbell County Library now has dramatic play centers at all three branches, thanks to a gift from the Friends of the Campbell County Public Library.
Dramatic play encourages kids to work together, assign roles and imagine unfamiliar situations.
For the month of December, all three of our branches have included a holiday theme. Cold Spring has a toy shop, Carrico has a post office and Newport has a Santa’s bakery play area.
The nature of the play will change frequently and rotate through the branches.
The Friends of the Campbell County Public Library is a nonprofit, whose purpose is to promote and improve library services, materials, and facilities for the people of Campbell County.
