Heads up, wildflower fans. If you want to hike and smell the flowers, the Wildflower Hike at Devou Park is 2 p.m. Sunday, April 10, led by Robert Repasky of the Cincinnati Wild Flower Society.
The event is FREE and open to everyone, so bring your family and friends.
It will start from the parking lot at the trail head off Sleepy Hollow Road. For directions, go to www.cincywildflower.org.
Repasky will blaze the two-mile path around the Benny Vastine Nature Trail and along the Sleepy Hollow and Old Montague Trails, Goat Path, and Full Monty.
Hikers will also learn about the reclaimed prairie that Crystal Courtney of the Devou Park grounds department has created.
So join the hike, and be prepared to be bedazzled by the buds!
