Attorney General Russell Coleman to be guest speaker at Chamber’s Government Forum Oct. 9


Attorney General Russell Coleman will be guest speaker at the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Government Forum on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
 
Taking place from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Hilton Cincinnati Airport, located at 7373 Turfway Road in Florence, Attorney General Coleman will discuss ongoing efforts to combat the drug epidemic impacting communities as well as defending the laws and policies designed to ensure safety.

“The Attorney General’s work to defend and craft policies that impact our region, both in terms of business and residents, makes this a meaningful event for many reasons,” said NKY Chamber Vice President of Government Relations and Business Advocacy, Tami Wilson. “We are excited to host General Coleman and look forward to hearing the insights he has to share with our members.”
 
Coleman was elected the 52nd Attorney General of Kentucky, winning 117 of 120 counties, on Nov. 7, 2023. He spent much of the two decades prior in public service; in 2017, having served as United States Attorney for the Western District of Kentucky. A former FBI Special Agent, he was raised in Graves, Daviess, and Logan counties and received both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Kentucky. He now resides in Oldham County with his wife, Ashley, and their three children.
