NKY Chamber to host gathering of local chambers of commerce June 11 at Cincinnati’s Mercantile Immersive

The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce (NKY Chamber) will present Fusion: A Multicultural Experience from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 11, at the Mercantile Immersive, located at 120 E. 4th Street in downtown Cincinnati.

Designed as a cultural exchange co-hosted by seven other local chambers of commerce, Fusion will bring together the region’s business community to connect, build meaningful relationships, celebrate unique points of view and explore new business opportunities.

The event’s co-sponsors include the African American Chamber of Commerce Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, the Asia Chamber of America, the European American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cincinnati, Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati USA, the Indian American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, the Japan America Society of Greater Cincinnati and the World Affairs Council – Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

“Our region’s strength comes from the range of perspectives and experiences that shape how we do business and solve problems,” said NKY Chamber Pesident and CEO Brent Cooper. “In today’s economy, that diversity is essential to staying globally competitive. When we intentionally bring different voices to the table and learn from one another, we fuel innovation, strengthen our business community and position Northern Kentucky for long-term economic success.”

This year’s event takes place at the Mercantile Immersive, Cincinnati’s first 360-degree multimedia event space that brings an IMAX-quality level of cinema to each occasion. The venue features two adjoining rooms with floor-to-ceiling LED displays featuring hundreds of millions of pixels, fusing together audio, video and more in a manner fitting with the event’s theme.

“Fusion is an opportunity to step outside our usual circles, connect with new people and gain perspectives that can truly change how we do business,” said Eric H. Kearney, president of the African American Chamber of Commerce Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. “When we take the time to engage with different cultures and experiences, we uncover ideas and relationships that lead to real growth. I encourage anyone looking to expand their network and strengthen their business to be part of this event.”

Registration is $25 and includes one complimentary drink ticket and light appetizers. Register online at business.nkychamber.com.
