Thomas More University held its 98th commencement on Saturday morning at Thomas More Stadium in Florence, conferring 473 degrees given to 464 distinct graduates from 14 states and 21 countries.
The keynote address was delivered by Monsignor William Cleves who received an honorary doctor of Human Letters degree.
TMU President Joseph Chillo gave the Presidential Address and conferred the outstanding student awards. Bishop John C. Iffert delivered the benediction.
There were 123 first-generation students and seven veterans among the degree recipients.
