The International Brotherhood of Teamsters Scholarship Fund has announced the recipients of its Class of 2026 scholarship awards, which includes Caleb Dabbs of Union.
Caleb is the son of Scott Dabbs, a member of Teamsters Local 100 employed by UPS. Caleb is a recent graduate of Randall K. Cooper High School and will attend Northern Kentucky University in the fall.
Teamsters Local 100 represents more than 4000 members locally in a variety of industries.
The Teamsters Scholarship Fund proudly awards 600 $2,000 scholarships each year, and in just three short years, more than 1,600 scholarships have been awarded. The money raised for the Teamsters Scholarship Fund comes from the generosity of Teamsters local unions, Joint Councils, and member service providers. The Teamsters do not allow any employers to donate to the Scholarship Fund.
Teamsters scholarships are awarded to high school seniors planning to enroll in four-year college after graduation, community college transfer students, and students who plan to attend trade or vocational schools. Applicants must be the daughter, son, or financial dependent of a Teamster.
