Campbell County shcools are aiming to make a meaningful difference through its Reading and Mentoring Program (RAMP).

Last year, 86 dedicated community members and district employees volunteered just 30 minutes each week to read with and encourage a first-grade student. That small investment of time made a big impact; building confidence, strengthening literacy skills, and creating meaningful connections that remind our students they are supported, capable, and loved.
The goal this year is 100 reading mentors.
Ultimately, every first grade student in Campbell County Schools should have a mentor.
RAMP makes volunteering easy. It provides all the training, materials, and support volunteers need. Simply choose the school, day, and time that work best for your schedule, and you will be matched with a student.
Interested in becoming a reading mentor? Contact Mrs. Myssi Turner at myssi.turner@campbell.kyschools.us or click here to sign up.
Businesses and community organizations are encouraged to join, too. RAMP is an opportunity for teams to serve together while making a lasting impact in the life of a child.
